Fantastic capture.

Is there any similarity between Challengers and the Abrams battle tanks?, they look kind of similiar.

Put any set of parameters into a CAD system and you'll get a similar output - just as many modern cars look similar.
We reckon Chally-2 is better because of the new composite armour - Abrams uses the 'old' British Chobham armour, whereas Chally-2 has a newer version.
Obviously doesn't stop IEDs blowing holes in the undersides though - 2 dead last week in Iraq from just such an attack.

Why thank you kindly, Young Miss.
As you'll appreciate, some of this series were taken with the 17-35mm - that's closer than I ever want to get to one of these things normally. I'd be much happier looking at them through the sights of an ATGWS-Javellin.
At one point my sleeve was brushed by one of the tracks going past and I had one of those "Oh-No!" moments - I could just imagine the hilarity as the Brigade Phot is reduced to bloody rags in front of the assembled Civvi Press we were escorting...

This is my favourite tank, my dad used to drive, gun, load and operate the radio on this tank in the Royal Dragoon Guards. used to get to see these every weekend as a kid.
